Welcome to another installment of your favorite comic raconteur meandering through a blog post. Things are looking up here at the House of Odd. After coming back to Captain Whizbang I expected to spend at least six months with little to no hits but the internet has surprised me yet again. And not in the usual distressing fashion.
The numbers aren’t everything but coming back to triple digit hits on the site has definitely been encouraging. Thanks to all the great readers, especially the nice folks inbound from Reddit, for giving ye ole comic a shot. Hope everyone’s been enjoying the ride and any word of mouth you can spread is appreciated!

Crap, a month since I’ve made with the bloggity-blogging. I’d like to say I’ve been laboring over a cornucopia of wordsmithery but that would be a metric ton of baby back B.S. Which isn’t necessarily out of the norm for something flying out of my mouth but a little honesty never killed anyone, amirite dear reader?

To start this off both right and proper, allow me to offer the following disclaimer: I do solemnly disavow any pretense that I am anything remotely resembling a blogger. Now then. Are your expectations lowered to appropriate levels? Excellent! Then we may proceed.
So. A big, empty space eager for content. Having gone the comic commentary route before, I really want to do more than offer an RSS feed sales pitch. But I’m still not decided on what the best alternative is. Geek-centric commentary? Sketch blog? Feverish ramblings about how that moldy box of kung pao chicken in the back of the fridge may be gaining sentience? Maybe ALL THREE?!?
But while I’m experimenting remember the comments field is there for more than spambots bearing weight-loss programs and tranny porn. If you like a topic I hit on or have something related to suggest then let me know. If the Infernal Monologue can be more of a dialogue then all the better.
